An incomplete copper-alloy lamp suspender. This lamp suspender has been cast in one and measures 31mm in height and 20.5mm in width. It consists of a central vertical shaft which terminates in a suspension loop. The base of this shaft flares outwards and is in the centre of three arms, which project at right angles from the central shaft. Each arm is incomplete due to old breaks, the missing terminals probably originally had circular perforations through them from which chains would have hung, to hold the lamp below. Fragment of jet object. This fragment is a shaft of jet that is subrectangular in plan and subcircular in section. It is broken at either end, and whilst the breaks are not fresh, they are not entirely worn smooth, suggesting damage occurred in the recent past. The object has a surviving length of 29.76mm, is 8.98mm wide, 7.46mm thick and weighs 3.42g. Given associated material, it is probably Roman in date, though the object is unknown.

Complete Roman bone counter. This counter is circular in plan and subrectangular in section with slightly bevelled edges. It is creamy beige in colour and undecorated. The upper surface is slightly countersunk, with a circular indentation in the middle, which is the result of it being manufactured on a lathe. The counter is worn and abraded and is now scratched. It has a diameter of 20.5mm, is 2.96mm thick and weighs 1.47g. Counters of this type were in use throughout the Roman period. See Crummy, 1983, figure 94 for numerous examples.

A Medieval Miniature toy bowl. Miniature bowls such as this one are thought to represent a pudding or flour basin as opposed to a tea bowl or punch bowl due to the plainness of design (Forsyth and Egan. 2005.110). This artefact although relatively plain incorporates a chevron design on the inside rim and two linear grooves running around the middle of the outside. Miniature kitchen wear such as toy bowls were thought to have been aimed at girls, with miniature knights for the boys (Forsyth and Egan. 2005.60).

Body sherd from an Anglo-Saxon vessel. The sherd is 8mm thick and grit-tempered, with an average grit diameter of about 0.2mm.. The profile of the sherd is slightly angled as if it came from the shoulder area of the vessel. The sherd is decorated with three horizontal lines with five further lines running diagonally from the bottom of the central lines, and three running diagonally above. All of the breaks appear to be ancient. The style of sherd and its decoration may suggest that it is from a cremation urn.

A copper-alloy strap end dating to the late second to fourth century AD. At one end, the strap end possesses a rectangular attachment loop with worn semi-circular perforation. This extends to a plain, flat leaf-shaped body. It measures 32mm in length, 10mm in width and is 1mm thick. The strap end weighs 0.9 grams.
