Complete cast copper alloy drop-handle, possibly from a piece of furniture. Probably Post Medieval (AD 1650 - AD 1800). Length 46mm, width 48mm. Weight 24.21g.
The handle is pelta-shaped and the frame is sub-circular in cross-section, about 3.5mm in diameter. At the base of the frame is a swelling which has a maximum diameter of 7.5mm. The apex is formed by a pair of integral lugs to act as a hinge which are "closed" at the front in order to conceal the attachment bar (now missing) to facilitate attachment to a piece of furniture. The surfaces have a patchy brown patina.

A complete copper alloy animal figurine, possibly a rat. This figurine is solid and three dimensional and measures 43mm in length, 11.2mm in width and 12.4mm in height.
The possible rat is in a crouched position with its hind legs tucked under the rear of its body and its front legs drawn back beneath its head. It has a small head with a tapering snout and a groove indicates its mouth. Its eyes are small and are represented by circular indentations on the side of its head and it appears to have eyebrows. A copper alloy cast bow brooch of Late Iron Age to early Roman date. The brooch is a Colchester one-piece brooch and dates to the 1st century AD. The brooch is incomplete, missing some of the spring, the pin and much of the catch-plate. The head has the typical Colchester type arrangement with thin wings positioned beneath the chord and secured by a tapering, forward-projecting claw. A Late Iron Age to Early Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch of Colchester One-Piece type, and dating to the 1st century AD. Although the brooch shares majority of the Colchester One-Piece characteristics, it has a separates axis bar, which was possibly inserted into the spring mechanism later. Incomplete cast lead weight of probable Medieval date (AD 1066 – AD 1500). Loops broken and missing. Maximum diameter 38mm and 20.5mm thick. Weight 220.74g.
