Incomplete copper alloy pin, Crummy Type 3. Bi-conical head, circular-sectioned shaft which is slightly bent. Much of the original surfaces are now lost due to pitting and erosion, but where they survive the surfaces are mid/brown. It is not possible to identify whether there was any surface decoration. It is 66.9mm long, the diameter of the shaft is 2.08mm and it weighs 1.82g. Similar examples have been found in excavations at Colchester (Crummy 1983, 29 nos. 480 & 484 fig. 28).
