Cast copper alloy asymmetrical, single-loop, sub-rectangular buckle with concave sides and moulded outer edge. The front of the edge is rounded with a single lobed knop in the centre. The knop is defined by two moulded lines which form a V pointing to the inside edge of the frame. The strap bar is recessed and narrowed. The frame is convex in section with a bevelled base that arches and rises towards the inner edge of the frame.
The buckle frame is 39.4 mm long and 34.5 mm wide and 4 mm in thickness. The bar is 35 mm long and 2.3 mm wide and 3.7 mm in thickness.

Wrought iron rondel dagger handle with a cast coppper alloy guard and the remains of the end of the short, single-edged blade. The handle tapers towards the pommel end. There are three rivet holes in the handle which would have held the wooden haft.
The dagger is 123.5 mm long, 25 mm wide and 4 mm thick.
The guard is flat in profile and oval in plan and is 59 mm long, 20 mm wide and 2.6 mm thick.
Ward Perkins (1993) illustrates a similar example on page 45, Plate VIII, Figs. 4 & 5, Nos.A1306 & A1773, which are dated to the latter half of the 15th century.

Cast copper alloy double-loop, trapezoidal buckle with ornate moulded outer edges consisting of two outer lobes and a pointed front in the shape of a trefoil. The pointed centre of the edge of each loop is engraved with a notch, for the pin to rest on, and a transverse line which runs the length of the outer edge of the loop. The pin has been cast and the narrowed strap bar has two lobed protrusions, one at either end. The frame has a flat base and slightly bevelled upper edges and is flat in profile.
The buckle frame is 36 mm long and 24 mm wide and 2 mm in thickness. The bar is 21.…
