Gold finger-ring, considerably distorted, the bezel formed of an elaborate quatrefoil, the centre of which is decorated with a roughly scallop-shaped ornament. The centre is keyed to take enamel, and a small part retains some white enamel. This central scallop is surrounded by an inscribed band which reads: "* DUM VIVO SPIRO" in black-letter (2nd V inverted). The areas of the quatrefoil that obtrude from this design are decorated with random strokes. A copper-alloy belt or harness mount of probable 17th century AD date (B. Read, 2001, p.35-37). The plate has two identical sections at the top and bottom, both of which have rounded corners, a single projecting knob at the centre point of the horizontal edge, and taper towards the centre. At this centre point the vertical edges jut out slightly to accomodate a cast five-petalled flower design. The remainder of the plate is decorated with raised scrolls. Medieval fragment very probably from a processional cross, broken and distorted, part of heavily-cast concave-sided circular frame (diameter 60mm) with offset flange on inside edge and projecting elaborate openwork elaborate quatrefoil, each foil with circular perforation and elongated projecting lobe between foils on three outer edges, cracked and bent around onto side.
