A silver-gilt fragment, possibly from a late Anglo-Saxon disc brooch. The fragment can be read as part of an animal with only the front leg, shoulder and curve at the junction of the neck and back remaining. A strand of interlace can be seen running behind the possible raised front leg which ends against a simple frame. The animal is rendered freely in a style reminiscent of the chip carving of the early Anglo Saxon period. All edges apart from the one delineating the lower part of the neck and back are torn. The width of the fragment is 15mm.

A complete cast silver medieval brooch. The brooch is slightly distorted but was originally in the form of a quatrefoil with triangles in each angle. A cast silver pin is looped around one of the petals. The length of the brooch is around 42mm and the width is around 17mm.

Copper alloy brooch, Trumpet variant type, described by Hattatt as Disc and Trumpet (Hattatt 1985, 113). Missing pin, damaged headloop, spring, catchplate and foot; areas of corrosion; bow bent. The head has a marginal incised line and inlaid single spots and centre line - the inlay is very corroded and dark grey in colour, ?niello. A small rotary key, cast in copper alloy. The bow is circular and fairly small; it is somewhat mis-cast and lumpy. There are two collars; a larger one adjacent to the bow and a smaller one, which becomes the rest of the stubby solid stem. The bit is simple, with two badly-cast clefts, one on each side. There is a short projecting tip. The casting is poor, with surviving flash. The key appears to have been used, though, as the bit has horizontal scratches on both sides. The surface is a dull green colour, with little wear. The key is probably medieval in date.

Complete cast copper alloy mount or handle in the form of a small male bust, possibly a fittings for furniture or other wooden object. Probably Late Iron Age or Early Roman (100 BC - AD 100). Length 45.5mm, maximum width 19.5mm and maximum thickness 18mm. Weight 34.39g. The forward facing bust has an oval face with a rounded chin but the facial features are indistinct. The hair style is indicated by a series of small indentations representing a fringe at the front and seven grooves over the remaining part of the head suggest that the hair is swept back. Small rather thick coin (diam 11.5mm, thickness varying c.1.8 to 2.5mm), slightly dished and almost certainly Iron Age. Metal probably silver but discoloured. The reverse makes most sense as a horse to right, in the style of Icenian Pattern-Horse types with a double mane and simplified body but the obverse has a couple of high relief spots which make no sense as an Iceni design. Perhaps heat damaged?

An unidentified object made of copper alloy and iron. The artefact consists of a flat oval copper alloy plate (38mm x 23.7mm x 1.3mm, 5.95g) with a sub-circular 4mm perforation at each end. These holes apparently received iron rivets or pins, the corroded ends of which remain in the other object; this second piece is formed of a flat copper alloy strip, with small rectangular block ‘feet’ at each end, in the bases of which are the stubs of the rivets (32.5mm x 12.32 x 7.4mm, 9.46g).
