A copper alloy sword belt mount, the main plate [70mm by 30mm] of which has fleur de lis shaped ends with rivet hole in each. The lower edge has three perforated lugs. One of these still has the pendant fitting consisting of a plate, 45mm long & 17mm wide with curved edges terminating in a rod which loops through the hole and is bent back on itself. Traces of foliar designs can be seen under the soil on the object. A similar belt mount from West Somerset has been dated to the 16th century(Read 2001, p43 no 373).

Post Medieval Strap fitting, flat mount in the form of a fleur-de-lis with two openwork apertures and two transverse grooves. Two integral round section attachment spikes on reverse, both bent over, suggesting leather 2-3mm thick. One spike is still set in rather decayed leather. 29.5mm x 19mm. Cf. Post Medieval Strap fitting, ovoid mount with trefoil or fleur-de-lis terminal and three unevenly sized and asymmetrically placed openwork apertures, one heart-shaped. On the front worn moulded decoration in low relief. Two integral round section attachment spikes on reverse, one missing, the other bent over suggesting leather c.1.5mm thick. 30mm x 19mm. 17th century.

A cast copper alloy sword belt strap fitting. The plate is ornately moulded; there is a rivet hole in the top of fitting. The front surface is slightly worn but the moulded decoration still can be seen. The lower part of the fitting has broken off. There is some iron staining on the broken end. The reverse is undecorated. The metal is a mid greyish-green colour. Sword belt fittings of this type date to the 16th –17th century.

A cast copper alloy object possibly part of a strap or harness fitting. The object is cruciform in shape. Two of the terminals have broken off. The upper terminal is a large fleur de lis. The left terminal is bent but is also a fleur de lis. The metal is a mid greenish-brown colour. Probably medieval to post-medieval in date.

A cast copper alloy strap mount or fitting. The fitting consists of a sub-oval element with central openwork of indistinct design. There are two round features, with concentric circles draw into them and then a further design below. The remains of an intact suspension hook extends down from the centre of the base of the oval element, terminated with a point. A crest made of three projections has been cast on the top of the oval. Copper-alloy sword-belt fitting. It consists of a plate with a hook, which would have been attached to the scabbard strap, and a plate with a hinge and a loop, which would have been attached to the belt. The hooked plate, or hanger, has a trefoil top and shouldered sides and has engraved decoration of leaves springing from a central stalk. At one end is a single iron rivet, and at the other is a hook with a globular knop at the tip. A copper-alloy decorative strap or belt mount, late Roman in date and most likely to be associated with the military. This mount is circular in shape measuring 27.9mm in diameter. It is open work with three curvilinear internal arms. There are also three evenly spaced rounded knops projecting from the edges of the front face. The back face has an incomplete integral rivet projecting from its centre. Circular decorative late Roman mounts of a similar style, although with a different openwork designs have been found in Germany (Oldenstein 1976, tafel 69, 902-907).

A copper-alloy strap of belt mount most likely to be medieval in date. Rectangular in shape measuring 20.6mm by 19.9mm in size. It is flat and the front face decorated with a central circular boss with a square panel around this, the border beyond the square is decorated with tiny circular knops, the front face is also gilded. The back face has a central projection which turns at right angles to the plane of the back face and is incomplete due to wear.

There is a rivet hole through the centre of the rectangular part. There is a transverse moulding between the rectangular part and the moulding. There are also traces of gilding on the front face.

A copper-alloy strap loop, most likely to be medieval in date. Roughly rectangular in shape with one straight end and one rounded terminal end with a central projecting solid knop. It measures 22.5mm in length and 12.9mm in width. Projecting internally from the centre of the straight edge terminal end there is an integral cylindrical shaft with a flat circular head. This strap loop would have been used to hold the loose end of a belt in place.

Copper-alloy early post medieval circa 16th century decorative strap or belt mount. This mount is open work and has a central lozenge shape with a feur de lis terminal at either end of this. It measures 54.7mm in length and 17.4mm in width. On the back face an integral spike projects from the terminal of each of the fleur de lis.

A complete copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century mount. This mount is roughly rectangular in shape and flares towards its terminals, one terminal also terminates in a hook. It measures 38.36mm in length and 9.10mm in width. One terminal has a concave edge and the other hooked terminal curves backwards from the front face. There are two parallel rivet holes, one wt either end of the mount, in one an in situ copper-alloy rivet survives. The front face also has traces of gilding.

A complete copper-alloy medieval circa 14th century bar mount, with a swollen circular centre and terminal lobes. This mount measures 17.8mm in length and 8.2mm in width, across its swollen centre. The centre has a rounded front face and a hollow back face, it has a central circular hole through it and around this is decorated with transverse grooves. Each terminal lobe is circular in shapoe again with a rounded front face and a hollow back face, they measure 4.7mm in diameter and each lobe has a central copper-alloy rivet through it.
