A circular lead alloy seal matrix with an inverted fleur-de-lys cast into the reverse. Suspension loop intact at base of fleur-de-lys, but blocked. Device is a cross formed of four branches of a thorny bush meeting at the centre, with four dots around, one in each quadrant made by the cross's arms. Measurements: maximum diameter of face 23 mm; weight 15.5 g.

Medieval lead alloy seal matrix, 27mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The object is in good condition with a cream patina and weighs 13.84 grams. The object is circular and has no obvious suspension loop or 'gripping' protrusion thats expected on a matrix. It is decorated on one side with a wide inscribed border with a central circular motif. The centre is divided into quarters and each has incised diagonal lines filling it. The inscription has some letters upside down and some not reversed, it appears to say PATRICHPRENDS.

Piece recorded from impression and description. A circular, lead alloy seal matrix, back and suspension loop not seen. Device of an equal-armed cross formed of ears of corn; set at 45° to this, a concentric equal-armed cross, the arms being plain lines; area between cross limbs is empty. Device is separated from the legend by a neat line; a similar line marks the outer edge of the matrix face. Measurements: 32 mm diameter approx..

An incomplete and distorted medieval lead-alloy seal matrix. The matrix is pointed-oval in plan, with an engraved fleur-de-lis device at the centre of its die. The legend surrounds this design and, when printed, appears to extend clockwise from 12 o'clock. Damage has rendered this legend largely indecipherable and the only legible part is the beginning, which reads ' +S' ('Seal of'). The legend was originally recorded as SR ROBERTI REYNAUD but from the sketch it looks more like + ROBERTI REINAVD or, perhaps more likely, + S ROBERTI REINAVD (Seal of Robert Reynold). The N is retrograde. 13th century.

Medieval lead alloy seal matrix fragment, 94mm long and 27mm wide. The object is in fair condition with a beige patina. It has been twisted and fractured and it weighs 75grams. The object is about half of an oval or lentoid shaped matrix and has an inscribed border. The object is illustrated with part of a human figure, the arm and edge of the body can be seen. Medieval lead alloy pointed oval seal matrix, measuring 33.5x22.5x3.5mm and weighing 15.22g. The seal matrix is very worn and damaged. The reverse is slightly rounded with a broken loop at one end. Extending from it and running down the centre of the reverse is a 2mm, 2mm high rib. To either side at least three tendrils/ curlicues extend, curling around at the end.
