Lead vesica-shaped (pointed oval) seal matrix, design of a fleur-de-lys cast into the reverse. Suspension loop intact at top (bottom of fleur-de-lys). Device of an equal-armed cross within a circle which joins the ends of all the arms; this is in the centre of the device area, with spaces above and below. A line separates the device area from the legend, and a similar line marks the outer edge of the matrix face. The inscription reads +S'· WILLI BVLLCEK (The seal of William Bullcek (or Bullcer))

Upper part of a substantial vesica-shaped (pointed oval) copper alloy matrix which has been broken in two, the larger portion has been lost. Reverse flat other than a damaged raised midrib with a suspension loop at the top. Condition is reasonable, but surface is flaking. Device: upper portion of a floral desig. The whole within a beaded border, and a second border defines the outer edge of the matrix. Measurements: face maxima 20 mm x 21 mm; weight 7.5 g.

An unusual lead alloy seal matrix. Face is circular, with tapering handle, circular in cross-section, which has been broken at the bottom of the suspension loop; the small piece of metal protruding to the side at the top may have been one side of the suspension loop. Device: a very crude wheatsheaf or possibly fleur-de-lys of three upright elongated pentagons joining at a short horizontal stroke, below which are visible three further short lines. Tiny copper alloy seal matrix with oval face and short handle in the shape of a flattened hexagon, broken off before the suspension loop. Piece is in very poor condition, with face thin and badly pitted. Device of a stag's head and length of neck, facing left. The ears are almost horizontal on either side of the head and the branched antlers can be seen behind it. Measurements: 11.5 mm x 13 mm, 5 mm high.

A copper alloy vesica-shaped (pointed oval) seal matrix, plain back with midrib beginning half-way along and rising gently to a neat suspension hook at top. Hook is corroded but intact; matrix is in generally good condition, but the edges are worn. Device: an elegant, curved flowering plant issuing from a low pair of leaves. Two curving tendrils (one each side of the main stem) split again and terminate in tiny, five-petalled flowers, whilst the "stem" terminates in a spray of buds. Device is separated from legend by a dotted line. Measurements: 16 mm x 25.5 mm; weight 5 g.

Device of a heart pierced by two arrows in saltire, fletchings uppermost. Above the heart a series of short lines, and above this, the bottom of a letter; the rest was on the missing portion of the matrix. A tiny burning heart in each of the remaining angles formed by the arrows. Edge of face surrounded by a beaded line. Measurements: 15 mm x 12 mm, 12 mm high; weight approx. 3 g.
