Medieval Lead seal matrix, flat, the reverse has letters lightly scratched into it including S, R and C and a sub-rectangular hole has been punched through from the reverse, it has subsequently been folded in half and then straightened by the finder leaving a transverse crease on the face. A copper-alloy pointed-oval seal matrix of probable mid to late 13th century AD date. It has a central image of a neatly engraved detailed fleur-de-lis. On the reverse is a central rib and a circular lug, which is located at the bottom, suggesting that the central motif was added upside down.The legend runs clockwise when printed, starting at the top of the fleur-de-lis; there is no initial mark. Unseen copper alloy circular seal matrix, handle with suspension loop at top intact. Piece is fairly corroded, making some letters irrecoverable. Device of a tusked boar's head couped close. The boar's snout is adjacent to the "P", the back of its head to the cross which opens the legend. A line separates the device area from the legend, and a similar line marks the outer edge of the matrix face. 14th c. Measurements: 19 mm diameter.

Central device of a shield-shaped pot, with straight top and rounded base, from which rises a four-petalled flower on a short stem. An incomplete lead seal matrix most likely to be medieval and circa 13th century in date. This seal matrix was probably a pointed oval shape originally but now only roughly a quarter of the matrix survives as the rest is missing due to old breaks, the fragment measures 22.7mm in surviving length and 16mm in surviving width. The front face has acurvilinear groove in its centre, the remains of a central motif, it is nos longer clear what this was as too little of the matrix survives. Post Medieval Silver seal matrix, hexagonally faceted conical handle with collared perforated circular terminal stamped with the maker’s mark, a letter H, stamped below a small end-knop. Engraved with a triple-masted ship with rigging and furled sails, the English flag (cross of St. George) flies from each mast and both the windows in the upper sections of prow and stern and the open gun ports are clearly shown. 18th century.

A lead seal matrix of medieval circa 13th century date. This seal matrix is a pointed oval in shape and measures 30.5mm in length and 22.6mm in width. There is an integral suspension loop on the back face of one terminal end. The front face has a border inscription and a central quatrefoil motif with a pellet in each angle. The surface of the matrix is a little grainy, hence some of the letters are damaged, but the central design is clear. Device of five equally-spaced oak leaves radiating from a central point and almost reaching the edge of the device area; remainder of area clear and smooth. A copper-alloy 14th seal matrix, flat and circular in shape with an integral suspension loop projecting from the top of the back face. It measures 21.2mm in diameter and c3mm in thickness. The front face has a border of tiny dots and then a border legend which begins with a cross pattee and reads CREDE MICHI, which means 'Believe me.' In the centre of the die there are two opposing birds viewed in side profile both drinking from a central vessel. This seal matrix could have had a religious meaning or a romantic one.
