Copper alloy matrix for a lozenge-shaped seal (35 x 29mm). The matrix depicts a lion rampant left surrounded by crosses with crosslets on three arms and a pointed fourth arm. The design is surrounded by a border of diagonal lines. There is a horizontal line separating the uppermost cross from the rest of the matrix, with three vertical lines below it, as an E on its side. The upper part of the matrix rises to form a sub-hexagonal handle, with three ridges below a pierced trefoil terminal. The upper surface of one point of the lozenge is stamped with a six-pointed star.

Copper alloy seal matrix pointed oval shaped (vescia), dating to the late medieval period. The matrix of the seal would once of contained lettering and possible a small design this has complettely eroded away. The back of the seal matrix has a simple loop.

Copper alloy seal matrix dating to the medieval period. The seal matrix has a oval shaped die, with points at the two ends. The design on the face of the die has been completely worn away. The back of the die has a flat ciruclar pierced loop at one end.

A circular, copper alloy seal matrix; back plain other than sloping midrib and small suspension loop at top. Device of two long-necked birds, possibly swans or, more likely, cormorants, facing each other with a fleur-de-lys in base between them. Their beaks touch at the topmost point of the fleur-de-lys' vertical central petal, and the birds perch on the tops of the two side petals. Device is separated from legend by a neat beaded line; a similar line marks the outer edge of the matrix face.
Measurements: 20 mm diameter, weight 3.5 g approx..

Cast copper alloy seal matrix, dating to the post medieval period (1600 - 1750 AD). The seal matrix has an open work trefoil handle with the central section of the trefoil having a rounded knob on the end. The shaft of the matrix is circular in section. The die of the seal is oval in shape and measure 16mm x 13mm, and the die has the letters W.B above whichis ia cruly que. This is a personal seal, the oval shape usually refers to a mother.

A lead alloy fob seal matrix in the form of a time piece mounted on a narrow, short stem with a circular sloping base. The small circular time piece face has a series of decorative pellets under it with a larger pellet at each end. The sloping base is decorated with a series of close parallel lines divided into quadrants by three vertical pellets. A circular row of pellets borders the edge of the base. A copper alloy, circular seal matrix with raised midrib and suspension loop at top of same. Device of a tall tower on the edge of flowing water. At least three floors are indicated by means of windows and doors; the top level has cross-hatching in the centre, which may indicate a leaded glass window. Device separated from legend by a neat beaded line; a similar line marks the outer edge of the matrix.
Measurements: 21.5 mm diameter, 10 mm thick to top of loop; weight 9.5 g.
