A copper-alloy openwork belt mount dating to the mid-second century AD. The mount is flat and rectangular and comprises a solid outer frame,supporting a central panel of openwork decoration. The outer frame is trapezoidal in section as it possesses bevelled edges, whilst the openwork design is rectangular in section. The four corners of the outer frame of the mount are pierced. The piercings contain small rivets with domed heads measuring between 2 and 3mm in diameter. Cast copper alloy multifoil, umbonate, lozenge-shaped mount with four integral pointed lugs behind each of the four points of the lozenge. Each of these four knops is in the form of a trefoil and one has a suspension loop attached to it. The central lozenge-shaped boss is surrounded by four openworked trefoils, which alternate with four knops that are each punched with a quatrefoil or four annulets. Read (2001) illustrates part of a very similar mount on page 38, no. 340, which comes from northwest Dorset and is dated to the 17th century.

A copper alloy openwork mount with loop, dating to the post-medieval period. It is flat, openwork and lozengiform in shape. A circular loop extends from the apex. The centre of the object is decorated with a lozengiform moulding. On the underside, the central moulding is hollow and there appear to be four attachment lugs, one at each corner of the object. It has a length of 55mm, a width of 39mm and a thickness of 5mm. The style of the object dates it approximately to the 17th century, and the integral attachment lugs on the reverse support this date. Copper alloy zoomorphic mount with cast integral stud. The mount is shaped like a crocodile flat on its front with the legs splayed out. The two back legs appear to be intact but the front part of the animal has broken away. There is a single incised line running down the centre of the back. Crocodiles did sometimes appear on mosaics during the Roman period although no parallels for this mount have been found. A Roman copper-alloy mount. Lion head mount which, it is suggested (see ref.), originates from a burial casket. The object is conical and measures 20.1mm in diameter. The display side extends upwards in four steps. The lowest step is plain, the second one up has indented lines which represent the mane, the third step contains the eyes, and the top step represents the nose. The reverse is hollow and has a projecting iron rivet at its centre. This rivet protrudes through to the upper surface also. The mount measures 11.2mm high and weighs 4.62g. It is slightly worn and corroded.

A copper alloy bird figurine. The figurine depicts a bird with outstretched winds and neck curved so the head faces one side. The tail is fan-shaped with a scalloped edge representing the ends of feathers. The neck and body are decorated with s-shaped incised lines; the wings and tail are decorated with thicker and more irregular lines all representing the feathers. Decorative copper alloy strip. Both ends broken. One end is birfurcated and has a drop-shaped piercing in each bifurcation. This is followed by an oval swelling decorated with engraved floral design, then the strip expands and there is a transverse row of three engraved lozenges, then the strip narrows again, to the break. The decoration points to a 16th or 17th century date. Length 51.66mm, width 13.98mm, thickness 1.52mm, weight 4.83g.

The mount has cast recessed decoration on the front; this comprises an eight-spoked sun burst design at the centre and a pellet in each corner with a comma shape above each one. The mount has a foot at each end with iron deposits on both probably from attachment. The mount measures 30.6mm in length, 10.08mm in width, 7.49mm in thickness and weighs 8.14g.

A fragment of gilded copper alloy 16mm long and 14mm wide. It is in good condition with a green patina, and weighs 2.13g. The fragment is roughly T-shaped, and has a raised border c. 2 mm thick around a panel of chip-carved interlace; the interlace has traces of gilding. On the reverse are the remains of a rectangular-section attachment lug 4mm long and 2mm thick. Post medieval copper alloy mount, 42mm in diameter 15mm wide and weighing 16.28 grams. The object is circular and domed and has surface decoration consisting of six bands which radiate from the centre. The bands are filled with raised dots which become larger as they near the edge. These lines seperate six petal like sections which have rounded edges. the reverse has a rectangular sectioned shaft which is 3.5mm wide. There is an exact parallel in Reads Artefacts of Antiquity and is possibly 16th century.

A cast silver oval mount of convex cross-section, with traces of gilding and niello. The decoration shows a symmetrical composition with a debased palmette between backwards-looking addorsed birds with raised wings meeting in the centre. There are traces of gilding as well as of niello remaining in some grooves. There are two patches of tin-lead solder on the back, suggesting that the object has been modified..
