Possible iron mount. The object is well worn but has a moulded decoration on on surface, consisting of two plant stems, one of which has two further shorter curls of foliage coming off it. The sides of the object that compliment the curls of the foliage appear to be original, whereas the sides that transverse the motifs are breaks. The reverse is irregular, corroded and worn and shows no signs of attachment.

A worn and corroded cast iron mount. The mount is quatrilobe in form with a convex central boss. The boss is 22mm in diameter and features an off-centre circular perforation, probably for attachment. The four lobes are each themselves bilobial and have suffered from abrasions and wear. The mount is probably of medieval date.

Small iron/cu-alloy belt mount. It was probably cast iron, but had a bronze coating which is now badly affected by bronze disease. It is a small flower-shaped (octefoil) mount with two small studs (iron) on the back which used to attach it to the leather belt or strap.

Probable iron furniture mount. The fitting has an undecorated solid plano-convex head with an integral circular sectioned shank below. This shank is circa 7mm in diameter. The shank is collared by an integral plano-convex head, circa 14mm in diameter, through which the shank appears to extend. This suggests that the object is more likely to be a furniture mount rather than a strap mount.
