A late Iron Age to early Roman Channel Rimmed jar. The vessel is almost complete, missing only parts of the base and some rim sherds. The jar is of a pale creamy colour with dark grey to black burning on the exterior. It has a grey core, with large and sparse grog temper. The vessel measures 155 mm in diameter at its opening and 93 mm in diameter at its base. It stands 177 mm tall. It was wheel thrown.

A large body and rim sherd from a late Iron Age to early Roman Butt Beaker, a copy of a Gallo Belgic type. The vessel would have had a diameter of around 11 cm at its opening. It is decorated with a large groove before expanding into the bulb of the body, which is decorated with vertical incised zig-zags. The vessel sherd is 82 mm high. The vessel is of a grey to brown sandy colour with small grog and calcite inclusions, and evidence of burnt out organic inclusions also.

An almost complete carinated urn or jar from the late Iron Age or early Roman period, dating from circa 25 BC to circa 60 AD. The vessel is wheel thrown and is tempered with small calcite grog, and possible shell inclusions. It is unfortunately missing its base. The vessel is 130 mm in diameter at its opening and 98 mm in diameter at what remains of the base. The vessel stands 106 mm high without its missing base. The exterior is decorated with lateral channels and ridges created by trailing a tool over the vessel whilst it was spinning on the wheel.

Five small vessel sherds of medieval pottery known as Humberware. The fabric is fine and mid grey colour with no inclusions (depending on how the pot was fired, the unglazed area is sometimes orange). The outside of the sherds have an olive green glaze and are decorated with incised lines around the circumference of the vessel. This type of pottery was produced at a number of production centres including Cowick and Holme on Spalding Moor and was manufactured from the late 13th century until 16th century. This type of pottery was largely utilitarian and functional.

Rim sherd of a thin walled cooking pot or storage vessel probably dating from the late medieval or early post medieval period (1400 - 1600 AD). The fabric is a hard earthenware with a number of small rounded and sub-angular grit and broken burnt pottery inclusions. The fabric also contains a large amount of sand like grains. The fabric colour is mid orange grey. The outer and inner surface of the pottery is a mottled light orange brown. The vessels were handmade and the surface has not been pared. The external surface is oxidised with a dark grey core. There are signs of burning on the internal surface of both sherds.
