Six sherds of pottery comprising one complete jug handle and five cooking vessel fragments dating to the thirteenth or fourteenth centuries AD. The jug handle is oval in section with flattened ends to aid attachment to the body of the jug. The upper surface of the handle is decorated with three vertical rows of incised dots. The fabric is orange, smooth and micaeous. The five sherds of cooking vessel are all body sherds. Their fabric is orange to brown and all have frequent shelly inclusions.

Two sherds of unglazed earthenware pottery / tile / brick probably dating to the late medieval or post medieval periods (1350 – 1600). These two sherds are worn abraded and exhibit lamination due to frost action. The fabric of the sherds is relatively hard and does not exhibit the usual two tone colour. There are a number of angular and sub angular black ironstone, grit, and broken pottery inclusions. The fabric is a light brown orange colour. The largest sherd measures 43.2mm x 38.7mm x 18.8mm. The smallest measures 45.3mm x 29.2mm x 13.6mm. The total weight of both sherds is 41.54 grams.
