Two Roman samian pottery sherds (of the same piece) from the base of a flat-bottomed bowl or plate. The nature of the fabric - which is mid orangey-red in colour with small calcareous inclusions and has a dark reddish-brown slip - may indicate an eastern Gaulish origin. The two sherds when pieced together measure 42mm long by 39.9mm wide and 6.3mm thick. They weigh 10.77g

A body sherd from a Roman samian bowl of probable southern Gaulish origin. The outer surface has raised decoration of indeterminate form. The fabric is light pink and the slip is dark reddish-brown. The sherd measures 42.9mm long by 33mm wide and 6.7mm thick. It weighs 8.23g.

A body sherd from the upper side of a Roman samian bowl of 1st to 3rd century AD date. The outer face of the sherd is decorated with a horizontal ovolo border and, as with the inner face, has lost most of its slip. The fabric is deep orange in colour and may indicate a central or eastern Gaulish origin. The sherd measures 33.4mm wide by 41mm high and 6.3mm thick. It weighs 8.10g.

A rim sherd of Roman samian ware, probably from a steep-sided bowl or cup, possibly similar to a Dragendorff type 33 (P.Webster, 1996, p.45) vessel. The fabric is light pinkish-orange and has a dark reddish-brown slip. It is most likely to have come from southern Gaul and probably dates from the 1st or 2nd century AD. The sides are slightly convex and there is a transverse groove near the lowest point of the outer face. The sherd is relatively unabraded and measures 42.2mm long by 29.4mm wide and 6.3mm thick. It weighs 9.18g.

Three colour coated (2 bases and 1 rim) sherds. The smaller of the base sherds is a pinkisk buff fabric with a black colour coat and may be a product of Colchester whereas the other two sherds are from a much thicker walled straight sided bowl in an off white fabric with traces of a brown colour coat. The latter fragments were made in the 2nd-4th century, Nene Valley kilns.

Twenty two sherds (including 10 rims, 1 foot-ring & 2 motarium body sherds)of fine red orange fabric sometimes with a grey core and occasionally with the colour-coat surviving. These are Oxford wares. The rims are from bowls or jars and two sherds have rouletting and one has a rosette stamp The mortarium sherds have some pink quartz grit surviving on their inner surfaces.

Four abraded sherds of pinkish buff, sandy pottery, consisting of a motarium rim; a bowl rim; a flagon base and a flagon neck.
