Identified as Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age by Lorraine Mepham. There is also a slim possibility that this is Saxon in date, although on balance this is thought less likely.

Body sherd from a jar or closed bowl. this piece is from the rim and has a girth groove decoration at the top. Identified as Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age fineware by Lorraine Mepham.
