Very large lead shield shaped weight. The weight has a large moulded cross in the centre with two crudely incised diagonal lines running from top left to bottom right showing the weight as a crest. There is one incised chevron in the central band beneath the cross, and it is likely that there were more that are now lost to wear and damage. In the centre of the weight there are two broken iron pins which would have been used to suspend the weight. The mass of the weight is 7lbs 3oz.
