An incomplete lead probable cloth seal, used to mark commercial cloth for sael and most likely to be post medieval in date. Only one disc now survives, it is circular and measures 11.9mm in diameter. The outer face has a moulded design with a central lozenge shape with decorative borders around this, it is worn and no longer clear.

A lead two pice cloth seal used for marking cloth for commercial sale throughout the medieval and post medieval period. The disc are circular in shape and c20mm in diameter. Disc one has a border inscription of which begins with a fleur de lis and reads S' [ ]AGV. There is a crowned port cullis with an annulet below and to either side of the crown in the centre of the disc. A lead probable weight most likely to be medieval or later in date. It is circular in shape and measures 38mm in diameter and 10.9mm in thickness. The front face has a concave centre which is covered with apparently random straight grooves. Circular lead trade weights of a similar size have been used since the Norman conquest, one group carry a form of florinated cross design and seem to be 12th-13th century in date. A lead decorative fragment from an unidentified object, date unknown. Roughly half of this fragemnt has its original edges which are curvilinear, the other edges are incomplete due to old breaks. It measures 16.8mm by 19mm in size. The front face is decorated with moulded curvilinear plain panels and between these there is a panel which is recessed with scroll-like motifs within this in relief. The back face is undecorated.

A medieval lead seal matrix. It is incomplete, broken around all edges, and worn. It is part of a non-heraldic personal pointed oval seal matrix. Of the inscription it is possible to read L ( ) W but no other letters can be determined. Part of a device which may represent a raised hand is present in the centre. The fragment is an irregular shape, 18.78mm by 18.02mm, and weighs 5.45g.

A medieval lead seal matrix. It is a pointed oval in shape, 30.74mm in length and 15.30mm wide, weighing 8.77g. It is worn flat so that nothing of the inscription or decoration can be determined. The reverse is also plain and worn, with a small patch of applied lead near one pointed terminal, indicating the position of a loop handle now missing. It is similar in shape to a lead seal illustrated in Read, 1995,no 420 .

Three lead vessel potmends most likely to be medieval or post medieval in date. 1: Roughly circular potmend, 26.5mm in diameter and 11.7mm in thickness, 42.1g. There is a fragment of glazed red earthernware within the mend, this is dated to the 16th-18th centuries. 2: A roughly oval shaped pot mend, 26mm by 23mm in size and 11.3mm in thickness, 27.4g. A lead weight, this weight is crude and roughly biconical in shape with a tapering terminal end and a more rounded globular terinal end. It measures 19.6mm in length, 14.6mm in width and 12.9mm in thickness. There is a piece of copper-alloy rod through its tapering terminal end, it is perhaps most likely to be post medieval in date.

A complete lead weight, conical in shape measuring 34.2mm in height and 25mm in base diameter. The tapering top is flattened and has a rounded suspension loop projecting from its centre throuhg this there is a corroded iron loop. As this weight has an iron loop there is a possiblity that it could be Roman or later in date, as Roman steelyard weights have an iron loop projecting from one or both ends.

A complete soild lead possible gaming piece possibly of late early medieval or Viking Age date. 31.5mm in height, 30.8mm in width and 20.9mm in thickness. It is crudely made and roughly conical in shape with an almost circular cross-section, tapering to a rounded narrow top. It has seven vertical moulded ridges running up the sides, they are not evenly spaced the base is slightly concave. A lead incomplete object of unknown function and date. It is rectangular in shape with one terminal incomplete and bent backards. It measures 29.6mm in length and 9.3mm in width. The front face is slightly faceted and back face flat. The front face is also decorated with circular indentations, There is a central row of these until about half way doen the object and then there are two opposing border rows with one central indentation between the last four indentations at the complete end.

Two complete worn lead two piece cloth seals, used to mark commercial cloth for sale and most likely to be post medieval in date. 1: Oval in shape measuring 34mm in length and 24mm in width, 14.7g. Disc one has a possible shield motif in its centre and a worn unintelligible border legend. Disc two has the numbers 20 in its centre. 2: Oval in shape, 26mm in length and 21.6mm in width, 9.44g. Disc one is blank and disc two has a border lengend, the letters [ ]PROV[ ] can be seen.

A flat cast lead fragment with one original curved edge surviving. The front is decorated with a low-relief design; the surviving part consists of small rectangular panels together forming a cross, with the edges of these panels formed by double border grooves (or perhaps a single border ridge). The arms of the cross are filled with cross-hatching, and the central square is filled with a diagonal relief cross. Little of the lower arm survives. The reverse is undecorated. An incomplete worn lead seal matrix of medieval circa 13th century in date. This matrix was originally circular in shape and now just under a half is missing due to old breaks, now worn. It is flat and measures 35.08mm in diameter and 27.5mm in surviving length. It has an integral suspension loop projecting from the upper edge. The front has a central motif which appears to be a stylised fleur de lis. A complete pouch-shaped lead ampulla, used for carrying holy water of medieval circa 15th century in date. It measures 47mm in height and 28.96mm in width. The triangular suspension lugs are complete and pierced to take a cord or chain originally. On one face there is a central longitudinal arrow shaped moulding. The other face has a border moulding with zigzag mouldings within the border with diagonal lines in the field behind these.
