Flat decorated lead alloy toy, possibly a bedhead or chair back. with raised decoration on one side. The object is rectangular with a three sided upper part, with concentric circular bosses at the junction between the straight and sloping sides. It is surrounded by a raised border and the bottom edge appears to be torn. There are two rectangular slits near the bottom of the sides. The central motif is of a quatrefoil rose surmounted by a crown, which forms the top edge. The spindle whorl / weight is sub-circular in plan, its diameter measures 23.7mm and is 4.4mm thick. There is a circular cast hole through the weight / whorl and this is set off centre. Cast lead domed mount, the obverse is decorated with a male figure in 17th or 18th century costume holding a cane. There is an inscription around the edge - much of this is damaged and broken off. What can be seen reads []D VERNO[]. There is a pierced hole, presumably for attachment, towards the bottom left edge. An incomplete unidentified object which appears to be made from a pewter or lead alloy and is now distorted and folded, probably due to exposture to heat. It measures 28.88mm in length, 16.5mm in width and 6.9mm in thickness. One face has a smooth part of a grey colour and a hollow part with a central longitudinal rib. The other face is more silvery in colour and one rectangular fragment has an especially silvery sheen, there is also a small rounded knob projecting from the side of this face. The date and function of this object is unknown.

Lead alloy coin weight used to weigh a medieval 'Noble' coin. Square in plan, the obverse shows a stylised ship with high fore castle and sterncastles, no sail, simple rigging and waves beneath. There is cross hatching to the reverse. The weight is creamy beige in colour and is 14.5mm long, 14.14mm wide, 4.54mm thick and weighs 7.02g or 108.3 grains. Withers 48.

A cast lead-alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla, worn and flattened as a result of old damage. This is a conventional flask-shaped example with a pair of extant integral suspension loops which are sub-triangular in shape. The front face seems to feature a scallop shell design (see notes, below), emblematic of St James the Great and duly of pilgrimage in general. The back face features a pair of concentric rings with zigzag motifs within. Within these circles is a further, indistinguishable, design. Later medieval, 14th or 15th century in date

A handle fragment from a post-medieval pewter spoon. The end of the handle is all that survives of the spoon. The flat pointed-oval fragment has a knob on the top and depicts a male and female figure in low relief on one face. The figures are in side profile and facing each other. On the opposite face are the initials E.W. The fragment has a small triangular hole in the middle. The surviving length is 36.0mm, the width is 25.7mm and the weight is 11.91g.

Cast lead alloy short skillet leg with four ribs on the outer face, which extend the length of the leg, and four ribs protruding from the inner face, which only extend half way up the leg. The end that would have been soldered onto the body of the vessel has been filed down on the outer edge and the opposite narrower end has been cut. This looks to have been used as a trial piece in order to test the mould for a more permanent copper alloy leg. Or it may have been used as some sort of repair, as lead is easier to work with, and has to be heated to a lesser degree, but it is difficult…
