A collection of flint flakes probably dating from the late Neolithic to middle Bronze Age. The assemblage consists of thirty four waste flakes and was collected through fieldwalking. They vary in size, from bewtween 15.2mm wide and 16.1mm high, to 42.8mm wide by 62.4mm high. They are generally broad, with a single bulb of percussion and rippling. The flint varies from a dark grey to a highly patinated white. The total weight of the assemblage is 296.5g.

A flint core of probable late Mesolithic to early Neolithic date. The core has a roughly semi-circular striking platform at the top and a bulb of percussion at the bottom. There are three narrow flake removal scars at the top, just below the striking platform, and a further small horizontal scar. The rest of the perimeter of the flint is unworked and it would appear that this irregularly-shaped core, which seems to have been for the production of narrow blades, was rejected fairly quickly. A flint core of probable late Mesolithic to early Neolithic date. The core has a single platform of roughly semi-circular form. It has been poorly prepared, and was probably rejected fairly quickly. The flat vertical face is still largely covered in its cortex, although some attempt has been made to remove this. The convex vertical face has three or four narrow flake removal scars which are consistent with the production of narrow blades. The surface of the flint has a light greyish blue patina. It measures 29.3mm wide by 17.2mm thick and 44.6mm high. It weighs 36.19g.

A flint core of probable mid to late Neolithic date. The flint is rough in form and still retains a large portion of its cortex. It has approximately six or seven broad vertical flake removal scars, with a further two horizontal scars close to the platform. The surface of the flint is a heavily patinated white. It measures 38.1mm wide by 24.6mm thick and 39.8mm high. It weighs 33.28g.

A flint core of probable mid to late Neolithic date. The object has a roughly semi-circular striking platform and broad flake removal scars around its perimeter. These are generally vertically aligned, although there are a few diagonal ones also. A small portion of the cortex remains and has a pinkish hue, possibly indicative of having been burnt. The flint surface is a heavily patinated creamy white colour. It measures 35.3mm wide by 26.4mm thick and 28.8mm high. It weighs 27.73g.

The flint has a semi circular striking platform and has only been worked on its convex side, the remaining edge retaining its natural cortex. There are three or four flake removal scars of varying widths. The flint is a patinated creamy white colour. It measures 45.7mm wide by 23.4mm thick and 38mm high and weighs 43.29g.

A flint end scraper of probable early Neolithic date. The tool is roughly oval in shape and has been made from a flake struck from a core. A portion of the core's striking platform remains at the bottom. The upper surface of the object is convex and has several vertical arrises. The upper edge (opposite the striking platform remnant) has been retouched to form the scraping edge. There is no evidence of working along the two long sides. Complete grey patinated flint axe or adze of possible Late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic date (7000 BC – 3000 BC). Length 93mm, width 40.5mm and 25mm thick. Weight 95.44g. The implement has three faces and is sub-triangular in cross-section. The widest of these faces has a slight ridge along the longitudinal axis. Each face is “chipped” overall. As viewed in plan, it has a pointed butt and a curved cutting edge, one side of which has a transverse flake scar. The sides are convex in profile. There are small areas of iron staining on each face.

A double-ended worked flint implement, probably an awl or point. It has been made from a large, probably naturally formed flake of pale brownish-grey flint, which is roughly lozenge-shaped.
