A medieval finger-ring, much distorted and recently repaired. It consists of a simple, flat, tapering band with a plain back and a front decorated with panels of stippled ornament. The shoulders each bear a simple cross and the centre is engraved with a lozenge. The recesses of the design were probably originally filled with niello, some of which appears to survive in the central panel. The finger-ring is silver and dates from the twelfth century. A medieval finger-ring, with a double-faceted bezel and a cabled hoop. The ring is badly abraded and almost certainly carried the image of one or two saints, though no depiction is clearly distinguishable. The shoulders are decorated with heart-shaped flowers resembling tulips, either side of a cabled band. The ring is (probably) silver-gilt, and dates from the late 15th Century or early 16th Century. Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

A medieval gold finger-ring, the hoop distorted, with a bezel of trapezoidal shape set with a sapphire. The slender hoop is of D-shaped section, with zigzag and punched decoration at the shoulders. The ring dates to the 13th century. X-ray fluorescence analysis of the ring carried out at the British Museum indicated a gold content of approximately 82%. The gemstone was identified by Raman spectroscopy as sapphire. The ring weighs 1.47g. The hoop is 2.6mm wide and 1.27mm thick.

Treasure case: 2005 T214 A medieval finger ring formed of a simple hoop and set with a triangular, shield shaped stone. The stone is deep blue, heavily scratched, and may be a sapphire or glass. The diameter of the hoop is 20mm. The ring weighs 4.54g. The finger-ring dates from the thirteenth century and is gold, and therefore qualifies as treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

A copper-alloy point, probably from a Middle to Late Bronze Age socketed spearhead. The piece is sub-triangular in plan, having a jagged break at the bottom and a worn or broken point. A rounded longitudinal ridge occupies most of the width on both faces; on either side of this ridge is a downward step which terminates in the edge of the spearhead.

A copper-alloy point, probably from a Middle to Late Bronze Age socketed spearhead. /the surviving piece is triangular in plan and has a vertical ridge at the centre of each of its two faces. The thickness gradually declines either side of this ridge, terminating in the two edges. The broken bottom edge is worn and patinated, suggesting the damage occurred in antiquity.

A Late Bronze Age palstave axe, cast in bronze. The axe has a single loop. The axe is complete but is worn and corroded. Much of the original surface has been lost due to this corrosion and wear. The object was found as a single find. It is 144.16 mm in length. The palstave once would have had a wide blade, but the blade tips and much of the blade width have been worn away. A cast copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount, the mount is complete but bent. This pendant suspension mount consists of a horizontal bar, now bent, measuring approximately 60mm (bent measurement) in length and 17.14 m in width. A 2nd century cast copper alloy plate brooch - native British type. This type of brooch is not a common type; according to Hattatt (via Hull) only six have been recorded from Somerset, Oxon, Leicester, Lincoln, Cambridgeshire and Nr. Hereford. The brooch is a slightly bowed 'pelta-shaped' plate with 'Celticised' motifs. The brooch is almost hexagonal in shape, but a decorative cut away has removed two of the hexagonal angles. A cast copper alloy element from a Post Medieval trivet dating c. AD 1700-1800. The object is formed from a flat strip of copper alloy. The strip divides into two curved branches and each branch extends out, terminating with a head of a bird, probably a phoenix. The front surface of the object with decorated by incised linear decoration. The centre strip is very long and gives the object an overall length of 96.58 mm. A cast copper alloy quatrefoil harness pendant with the remains of red and green enamelling still visible. The pendant is very corroded but the shield motif can still be seen in the centre although the design inside is indeterminate (possibly a lion). The suspension loop is missing, the break is well worn. This harness pendant dates roughly to circa 1300-1500 AD.

A cast copper alloy Anglo Saxon button brooch of Suzuki (2008) class L, with gilding on the front of the brooch. The brooch depicts an incised circle, just inside the rim. Inside the circle there is a depiction of some sort of head. The head depicts a face with sub-triangular eyes, T shaped nose and eyebrows and pointed helmet.
