A copper alloy German medieval jetton. The jetton has been cut presumably to make it into a smaller fraction of jetton. The person cutting the jetton has followed the design on the reverse and has cut around the area which depicts the fleur de lys. This type of jetton was struck at Nuremberg. They were commonly used in English in the 16th century and possibly later.
