Penannular gold ring having narrow stripes of yellow and paler gold, this decorative effect very worn especially around each face. The paler (more silver-rich) stripes have blackish tarnish. Visible green corrosion products, and its light weight, suggest that the ring is one of those comprising a gold covering over a copper alloy core (tested: see scientific report). External diameter 29-27mm; breadth 7.5mm; internal diameter 5.6mm; weight 11.6 grams.
