Fragment of a pottery roof ridge tile with grooved decoration in a 'herring bone' pattern or 'fir tree' motif on either side of the crest and running from the top of the ridge towards the base of the tile, which is missing. The fabric includes small white inclusions of feldspar and slivers of gray shale and fragments of mica, which suggest that it is made of Lostwithiel-type ware. Spherical, annular, cobalt blue glass bead with a trailed white glass paste pattern and a central hole with a diameter of 4 mm. White opaque glass threads have been coiled around the blue glass bead and then marvered. The white threads were then pulled upwards to create this wave pattern. The bead compares in size and shape to an example in Crummy (1983) on page 33, Fig.34, No.617, in colour to No.562, and in style of decoration to Fig.33, Nos.543 & 546 which both have marvered trails and are dated to the Roman period. Flint retouched notched scraper, saw or spurred piece. The flake is unimarginally retouched on the distal end, creating three notches and one spur, and on the right edge of the dorsal face. The colour of the flint is a translucent light to dark gray brown. About a third of the dorsal face is covered in cortex which suggests that this was a secondary flake. The ratio of length to breadth is about 1:1. Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example of a notched saw on page 143, Fig.5.129, No.F150, and spurred pieces, Nos.F153 & F154 which are all dated to the Later Neolithic.

Flint scraper with a hinge fracture or hinge termination at the distal end of the ventral face. The dorsal face has been unimarginally retouched from the proximal end down both the right and left edges. The colour of the flint is a mottled beigey gray with litte specks of iron staining on both faces. No cortex remains on the surface of the flake, which suggests that it is a tertiary flake.
