Measurements: face 15.74 mm diameter, handle 17.84 mm high. A matrix with a similar motif was found in the excavations at Bedern, York in an early to mid 14th century floor level. An Early Medieval copper alloy pair of tweezers (5th-6th century). The tweezers have been cast and they are decorated. The loop has a broad longitudinal groove bordered on either side by an incised line. The arms are decorated by two bands of parallel horizontal incised lines; the first band comprising seven lines, the second six. A copper alloy sword belt mount, the main plate [70mm by 30mm] of which has fleur de lis shaped ends with rivet hole in each. The lower edge has three perforated lugs. One of these still has the pendant fitting consisting of a plate, 45mm long & 17mm wide with curved edges terminating in a rod which loops through the hole and is bent back on itself. Traces of foliar designs can be seen under the soil on the object. A similar belt mount from West Somerset has been dated to the 16th century(Read 2001, p43 no 373).

A flattish D shaped limestone object with one flat and one convex face. A 5mm diameter hole has been drilled through 15mm in from the curved edge. All the surfaces are roughly finished. A number of perforated and grooved stone weights were found in the river Ouse in north Buckinghamshire. These were considered (Mynard 1979) to be the sinkers for fish or eel baskets and the hole allowed the weight to be tied to the bottom of the basket. Flat copper alloy sheet fragment with engraved design. It has a diagonal tear but the object appears to have been roughly rectangular with rounded corners. There are incomplete incised circles at the two surviving corners, either side of a semi-circular recess. Two lines extend from the recess forming a curving V shape with semi-circular marks in a row along each internal edge of the V. The reverse is undecorated.

Stamped lead sealing cap for a bottle or other vessel. The stamped design is in the form of a sun with central circle and radiating triangles. Inside the circle is a face with two pellets for eyes, each with a central dot and an oval mouth. There are horizontal lines above the eyes. The whole motif is divided by a line. The edges of the cap are folded down to form a lip 8mm long and the whole object is flattened and distorted. NMS-9F24B3, LON-B38BE4 and WMID-5EEF39 all appear to have the same design.

Copper alloy mount in the form of a central quatrefoil with circular holes in each of the four lobes. There is a long central arm with circular pierced terminals at each end and a smaller pierced hole below each terminal. A shorter arm with pointed terminals crosses this at right angles. It appears to have had a central fold along this axis, allowing the mount to be attached to a right-angled corner. One of the arms has been folded over from back to front.

Foot and catchplate of a Roman bow brooch, possibly an early e.g. Colchester type. The foot is narrow and triangular in section, and only slightly tapered. The catchplate is cast as one piece extending from the middle of the foot, with a triangular plate bent over to form a narrow lip. The top edge of this triangular plate is curved. There is a circular hole in the top edge and possibly another one below it. The fragment is slightly distorted.
