A cast copper alloy single looped sub-rectangular buckle with moulded knops on each corner. The outer edge of the frame has been decorated with incised decoration. The pin is missing. The buckle is a mid reddish-brown colour. These buckles date from circa 1250 - 1400. Similar types of buckles can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p21.

The pendant is worn, has damaged edges and a broken suspension loop; The terminal projecting from the top corner of the pendant has a worn break where a suspension loop would have been positioned to attach it to a suspension mount. The front is highly worn, with a possible floral design surrounded by a double lined lozenge. A Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flaked axe (or possibly an adze). The axe dates from between circa 3000 BC to 1500 BC. The implement has been knapped into a sub-oval shape. One terminal is slightly pointed, the other is rounded. On one surface 5% of the cortex survives. A number of small patches of some sort of iron staining have adhered themselves to the surface of the flint, this could be due to the fact that the flint was found in an area which has iron rich soil, within the East Sussex Weald. A medieval finger-ring, much distorted and recently repaired. It consists of a simple, flat, tapering band with a plain back and a front decorated with panels of stippled ornament. The shoulders each bear a simple cross and the centre is engraved with a lozenge. The recesses of the design were probably originally filled with niello, some of which appears to survive in the central panel. The finger-ring is silver and dates from the twelfth century. A small key, cast in copper alloy – cast as one piece. The bow is circular in shape. The section of the metal loop used to make the bow is flat with rounded corners. There is a moulding (or collar) next to the bow which is somewhat mis-cast and crude. The stem is solid and terminates with a projecting tip. The stem has a flattened section with rounded edges/ corners. The bit is simple. It is square in shape. Two small clefts have been cut from the bit forming three wards. The surface is a mid greyish-green colour, with little wear. The key is probably medieval in date.
