Complete cast copper alloy mount or handle in the form of a small male bust, possibly a fittings for furniture or other wooden object. Probably Late Iron Age or Early Roman (100 BC - AD 100). Length 45.5mm, maximum width 19.5mm and maximum thickness 18mm. Weight 34.39g. The forward facing bust has an oval face with a rounded chin but the facial features are indistinct. The hair style is indicated by a series of small indentations representing a fringe at the front and seven grooves over the remaining part of the head suggest that the hair is swept back. Complete cast copper alloy mount, possibly the hook section of a hook-and-eyelet dress-fastener of seventeenth century daye (AD 1600 - AD 1700). Length 36.5mm, width 15.5mm and 1.5mm thick. Weight 3.31g. Viewing the dress hook in plan, the main part is heart-shaped with open work in the shape of two circles and a lozenge. These features are bevelled around the edges. Complete cast copper allooy spur rowel of Post Medieval date (AD 1500 - AD 1800). Diameter 34mm, thickness 2mm. Weight 3.85g. The rowel has ten alternating long and short points. Each of the longer points terminate with a rounded endand the shorter points are sharper at the ends. One of the longer points is bent. A central circular perforation for the bar is 2mm in diameter. The metal is a reddish colour.

Complete grey patinated flint axe or adze of possible Late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic date (7000 BC – 3000 BC). Length 93mm, width 40.5mm and 25mm thick. Weight 95.44g. The implement has three faces and is sub-triangular in cross-section. The widest of these faces has a slight ridge along the longitudinal axis. Each face is “chipped” overall. As viewed in plan, it has a pointed butt and a curved cutting edge, one side of which has a transverse flake scar. The sides are convex in profile. There are small areas of iron staining on each face.

Cast lead object, possibly a weight of probable Post medieval date (AD 1500 - AD 1800). Length 33mm, upper diameter 9mm, lower diameter 16mm. Weight 40.10g. The object is cone-shaped with a truncated (flat) top and has a sub-square-shaped perforation through the longitudinal centre. The dimensions of this perforation are roughly 4mm x 4mm at the top and 5mm x 5mm at the bottom. On the side of the cone are four equally spaced minor ribs which extend along its full length. Near the base, on the side, are a number of casting flaws. The metal is in a stable condition.

Complete copper alloy finger ring of probable eighteenth century date (AD 1700 – AD 1800). External diameter 21mm, width of hoop 3.8mm and 1.3mm thick. Weight 2.16g. The hoop is simple and the external surface is plain and slightly convex. The internal surface is slightly convex and has serifed initials G and R stamped either side of a six-pointed star. These initials are, perhaps, those of the wearer. Dark green patina overall, except where small areas of damage have occurred to reveal a bright red metal.

Incomplete and corroded heraldic horse harness pendant of Medieval date, possibly thirteenth or fourteenth century (AD 1200 – AD 1400). Length 21mm, width 18mm and 1.0mm thick. Weight 2.03g. The pendant was probably circular in plan, when complete. The front face bears a shield which appears to be charged with a quatrefoil motif. The rear face is plain and flat. Only a small portion of the suspension loop shaft survives. There are minute traces of gilding on the front. The piece is in poor condition with small areas of active bronze disease.

The plate is convex at the front and concave at the rear. Viewed in plan, the sides of the plate expand outwards and then inwards forming convex profiles.
