A cast copper alloy single-loop buckle with an ornate outer edge, and a wrought copper alloy pin. The frame is oval, with an offset slightly recessed pin bar. The outer edge has three knops with narrow collars between them. The pin is formed of copper alloy wire, with the end bent in a circle around the pin bar. There is no trace of a buckle-plate. The surface is dark green. This buckle probably dates to between 1200 and 1400.

A cast copper alloy double looped buckle dating to c.1550-1700. The copper alloy pin survives intact. The central bar extends out of the frame of the buckle, with rounded protusions. The buckle is a mid greyish-green colour. Most of the original surface survives. The reverse of the buckle is concave, suggesting that it may have been moulded, rather than cast.

The frame is uninterrupted; so therefore has no pin recess. The pin is looped around the circular frame and extends to a tapering length of 26.59mm. The pin has lost its end, but the break well worn. There is no decoration on the buckle. The metal has lost most of its original surface and the metal is a mixture of a light greyish-green colour and a mid reddish-brown. A cast copper alloy rectangular buckle, with an intact strap bar. One of the shorter edges of the frames has a cut away, into the frame, making the frame on that edge almost L-shaped. The frame is rounded and there is a curve in the frame, on the two longer edges, just before the shorter edge with the L-shaped section. A cast copper alloy double looped buckle frame, with all-over moulded surface decoration. There are moulded knops at either end of the strap bar, and the loops are decorated on the outer edges with two moulded lobes, with two looped knops either side of these, on each corner of the loops. The reverse is undecorated and flat. It is complete apart from the pin, which is missing. The metal is a dark greyish-green colour. There are traces of a black lacquer in the creases of the metal. These buckles date from circa 1550-1650. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p68.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy single (or possibly double) looped buckle frame. There is evidence of decorative moulding details on the loop of the buckle. The reverse is undecorated and flat. The pin is missing and the frame is incomplete. The metal is very worn and badly corroded. The metal is a dark greyish-green colour. This buckle is undatable, other than to say it dates to either the medieval to post-medieval period.

A cast copper alloy double looped asymmetrical buckle frame. The strap bar survives intact, terminating with projecting knops. A copper alloy chape extends from the strap end, terminating with a wire tongue, which has been wound into a loop. The chape has been attached to the strap bar, via two loops wound around the bar. In between the loops, a corroded lump of iron remains in situ.
