Copper alloy zoomorphic plate brooch. The brooch is very worn and is shown in profile to the right. The legs are missing, and the tail area and the perimeter of the head are very abraded. The body is decorated with a single curve towards the rear end representing the hip of the animal. The neck of the animal is very short and the head has a snout and worn ears. The animal would appear to be a hare, although the rear end of the animal would seem to be larger than normally portayed on hare brooches.
