Description: An incomplete gilded silver pin-head in the form of a bird. The gilding on the pin-head is now quite worn. The ends of the ears and the top of the wings are both damaged. Originally they may have joined together to form a loop. The wings are engraved with cross-hatching, to give the effect of feathers. The cylindrical shaft of the pin is broken and slightly bent. Description: A silver early post medieval probable sleeve link, in good condition. Square in shape, measuring 16mm by 16mm in size and 7mm in thickness. It has a square recessed setting on one face containing a gem of glass or crystal, which is white and transparent. The outer faces of the four sides of the setting are each decorated with three triangular grooves with longitudinal grooves within these. Outside the setting there is a beaded rim.
