The fabric is relatively hard with a number of angular and sub-angular quartz, grit, and broken burnt pottery inclusions. The fabric colour is a grey mid orange. There is no evidence of glaze or decoration on the outer edge of the vessel. The diameter of the vessel can be estimated from the curvature of the rim - this would be approximately 140mm (14cm). The sherd weighs 6.09 grams.
