Incomplete copper alloy skillet handle, semi-circular in section and 21mm wide at the (old) break (and 10mm thick). It is 87mm in length and weighs 95.42g. At the complete, rounded end it is 16mm wide and 8.5mm thick. The flat side of the handle is crudely decorated with two deep grooves running parallel to the edges. The area between these lines is filled with joining V-shaped grooves, of which there are five from the broken end. Nine copper alloy rings of varying sizes but between 7mm and 9mm in diameter, cast in two pieces and probably post medieval in date. The colour of the metal is greyish, similar to gun-metal. The rings are relatively crude, the casting seams being unfinished. Each half of the ring is triangular in section, so the whole is somewhat lozengiform in section. The largest is 2mm thick, the smallest 1mm thick. Their collective weight is 3.89g.

Tiny copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative dolphin brooch with spring mechanism, missing spring, pin and curl of catchplate. The foot is bent slightly to one side. The wingspan is 14mm and directly behind this and extending into the dolphin's 'hump' is a double-peirced rounded projection, 3mm thick. The bow is circular in section and tapers to the foot, where it extends sideways into the flat catchplate. It is 27mm long and weighs 3.29g. 1st century

Incomplete copper alloy Roman leontomorphe (lion bow) T-shaped brooch missing its axis bar, pin and catchplate. One wing is damaged. The incomplete wingspan is 24.5mm (estimated original wingspan 27mm) and is tubular, both ends being a little damaged. The curved back of the wing is also damaged. The bow extends from the front of the wings at a 90° angle, which drops sharply with an edge into a curving but flat bow, 10mm wide and tapering over 34mm to 4mm wide at the foot. Medieval copper alloy casket key, 37.5mm in length with a max width of 12mm. The bow is flat and 10.5mm in diameter, the internal diameter of which is 6.5mm. The stem is rather tear-drop shaped in section, the top of the stem being much rounder than the bottom, and the sides rather flat. There is a slight collar beneath the bow, apparant only on the rounded sides of the stem. The bit is I-shaped, 9mm wide and 8mm long. 12th-14th century in date.

Incomplete medieval copper alloy rectangular buckle frame, measuring 48x45.5mm and missing its pin. The axis bar is D-shaped ins ectino, being flat on the underside. The area to either side of the axis bar measure c.15x38mm. The frame is a little out of shape. The two edges parallel to the axis bar are 6mm wide and decorated with four groups of oblique incised lines within an incised line flanking both edges. The shorter edges of the frame c.4mm wide also have this decoration. 12th-14th century. Cf Egan 1991 no.447.

Incomplete medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame with offset, narrowed bar, missing its pin. It measures 46x30mm with an internal dimension of 40x13.5mm. The outside edge is wide and apparantly angled, though now squashed. It curves out to 14mm wide at the centre. A line of rocker-arm decoration follows the outside edge while another follows the inside edge, extending inwards in a rectangle to outline the depression for the pin. The axis bar is D-shaped in section, being flat on the underside, and with a rounded knop at either end. 12th-14th century in date.
