An incomplete copper-alloy Roman hairpin of Cool group 21 (Cool 1990, 170, fig 11 no 8). This pin is of group 21 as it has a squashed spherical knob head with a central depression on the top, measuring 7mm in diameter. This depression is now empty but was originally likely to have contained a glass or enamel setting. Where the head joins the shaft there is a worn collar, the shaft has a circular cross-section and measures 18mm in length, although it is tapering towards its tip it is originally likely to have been longer and is probably incomplete due to a worn old break. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman strap end. This strap end is likely to be an unusual variant on the 'amphora' type, more elgonated and narrower than other examples but still retaining a basic 'amphora' shape, it measures 60mm in length and 12mm in width. The attachment end is incomplete as are the 'handles' of the 'amphora,' as their outer edges are missing due to old breaks. A copper-alloy fragment of a probable Roman buckle frame. The frame is of Hawkes and Dunning type IIA (1961, fig 17 j), which is made up of a seperate loop, tongue and plate held together with a bolt. The loop of this type is formed of a pair of confronting dolphins. In this example less than half of the loop survives, the dolphin tail end is complete but the end where the dolphin head would be expected is missing due to an old break. A complete copper-alloy undientified object flattened biconical in shape with a central perforation. It measures 17mm in diameter, 11mm in thickness and the perforation is 4.6mm in diameter. The surface is rough, as much of the original surface is now missing due to wear and no decoration can be seen. No parallel could be found for this object its function is unknown, it could possibly have been a bead. It could be Roman or possibly later in date.

One end is flat and oval in shape and rough to the touch, measuring 53mm by 24mm in size and the other end is an incomplete shaft, rectangular in plan with an oval cross-section. A probable fragment of a cast copper-alloy casting sprue or jet. It is flat and oval in shape, measuring 19mm by 18mm in size, with a rough upper surface and a cylindrical incomplete shaft projecting from the centre of the underside, 7mm in length and 6mm in width. The date of this metal working is unknown as it could be Bronze Age or later in date.

The worn copper alloy head and shaft fragment of a Roman pin. The rest of the shaft is missing due to old breaks, which are now worn. The head is globular with a flattened top which may have originally been decorated with circular indentations but this is no longer clear due to wear. At the base of the head there is a collar and then three more circumferential ridges. The shaft is circular in section. The whole head and shaft fragment measures c16mm in length and the head measures c7mm in diameter.

A copper-alloy folded sheet buckle plate, rectangular in shape measuring 30mm in length and c13mm in width. This plate is recessed for the missing frame and has a circular pin hole. It has a central rivet hole and one in either corner of the attachment end, on sopper-alloy rivet remains in situ. The front face of the plate is decorated with an incised zig-zag border. This buckle plate is medieval and circa 14th century in date.

An incomplete copper-alloy mount, probably a corner mount from a book, now damaged and worn along its edges. It is rectangular and made of thin metal, measuring 25mm by 16mm in size. The front originally had a central circular boss, which has now been damaged with an irregular hole in the centre. Around the boss are traces of punched decoration, although the circular motifs portrayed are no longer clear. A late 15th or early 16th century copper-alloy purse bar and loop of Williams class F. The loop is a quatrefoil and is cast in one with the shank which passes through the circular perforated centre of the bar, the shank is held in place by the seperate circular copper-alloy rove on its terminal. The bar has both its arms and measures 54mm in length and 5mm in width. It is rectangular in shape, except for the circular centre through which the shank passes. A bent copper-alloy outer sheet from a 14th century composite strap end. It unbent this sheet would be rectangular in shape with a tapering terminal end, ending with a small rounded projecting knop. It would measure 36mm in length, if unbent and measures 19mm in width. The attachment edge is concave and has a rounded aperture in its centre, there is an in situ copper-alloy rivet to either side of this.

The cast copper alloy solid moulded head and shoulders of an animal, possibly a sheep. Only the head and shoulders now survive and the rest of the animal is missing due to old breaks. It measures 26mm in length, 24mm in width and 13mm in thickness. It is 3-dimensional and has a long nose, oval shaped eyes on the side of its head and pointed oval shaped ears laid back against its head.
