An incomplete composite copper-alloy strap end with a sheet spacer occuping its whole width, it measures 42mm in surviving length and 11mm in width. Both of the outer sheets and the spacer are incomplete, due to old breaks, the terminal end survives. Both of the outer sheets are decorated with incised crosses, there is an in situ copper-alloy rivet through the centre of the sheets. The terminal is waisted and then flares into a rectangular knop, again with a wasited centre and a flaring end, with three radiating grooves cut into its front face. A complete copper-alloy strap end formed of a folded rectangular sheet, one transverse edge is folded over. It measures 21mm by 16mm in size. There are two parallel copper-alloy rivets in situ at its attachment edge. Traces of gilding can be seen on the front face. This strap end is most likely to be medieval and circa 14th century in date.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman strap end. This strap end is likely to be an unusual variant on the 'amphora' type, more elgonated and narrower than other examples but still retaining a basic 'amphora' shape, it measures 60mm in length and 12mm in width.
The attachment end is incomplete as are the 'handles' of the 'amphora,' as their outer edges are missing due to old breaks. A bent copper-alloy outer sheet from a 14th century composite strap end. It unbent this sheet would be rectangular in shape with a tapering terminal end, ending with a small rounded projecting knop. It would measure 36mm in length, if unbent and measures 19mm in width. The attachment edge is concave and has a rounded aperture in its centre, there is an in situ copper-alloy rivet to either side of this.

The cast copper-alloy forked spacer and terminal from a composite strap end of medieval circa 14th century date. The forked spacer is U-shaped and measures 39mm in length and 29mm in width. Traces of solder can be seen on both faces this solder would have held the now missing two outer copper-alloy sheets of this strap end in place. The terminal knop is an acorn with a cross-hatched casing and tapering tip. This terminal would have projected beyond the outer sheets of the strap end.

An incomplete copper-alloy composite medieval, circa 14th century, strap end, the central spacer, occupying the whole width and one outer sheet now survive the other outer sheet is missing apart from its terminal end, due to old breaks. This strap end measures 42mm in length and 13mm in width. The terminal end is quatrefoil in shape with each lobe terminating in a trefoil, possibly fleur de lis.

A copper-alloy late Anglo-Saxon strap end of Thomas's type E, which dates from 900-1100. This strap end is rectangular in shape with a tapering and rounded terminal end or tongue-shaped, it measures 42mm in length and 26mm in width.
The attachment end is incomplete due to old breaks now worn but the remains of two parallel rivet holes and a larger central hole can still be seen. The front face is decorated with a tongue-shaped border within which there is a relief design which appears to be roughly symmetrical. Strap end of Middle Saxon type, in copper alloy, probably 9th century. The object is 37mm long, but perhaps originall 40mm as it has bends in two places which foreshorten the linear length. The terminal is shaped like an animal-head in the usual way, with large round ears. The trailing end is split into two leaves, with two small rivets near the trailing edge. A complete outer copper-alloy sheet from a medieval circa 14th century composite strap end. This strap end is likely to have originally consisted of two outer sheets and a sheet spacer within them occupying its whole width. The surviving sheet is rectangular in shape with a tapering triangular terminal end measuring 36mm in length and 8.4mm in width. There is a circular rivet hole through the centre of the terminal end.and an in situ rivet through the centre of the attachment end of the plate.

A complete Anglo-Saxon Gabor Thomas's type A strap end dated late 8th century to the end of the 10th century. Rectangular in shape, tapering towards its terminal end, measuring 34mm in length and 8mm in width. The attachment end is split and has two parallel copper-alloy rivets through it. The front face is decorated with a fan-shaped motif, a rectangular panel with a lozenge shape with small scroll like motifs surrounding it and finally an animal head terminal. This animal head terminal has small oval shaped ears, small eyes and s stubby snout, it resembles a mouse or a bat.

This strap end is roughly rectangular in shape measuring 40.3mm in length and 10mm in width at its attachment end, its widest point, and 5.4mm in width at its terminal end. An incomplete copper-alloy unidentified object. This object consists of a elongated lozenge shaped shaft with both terminals missing due to old breaks. It measures 28.6mm in surviving length and 13mm in width. The front face has facted longitudinal egdes and is decorated with small circular indentations. These form a border and there is one central one. This object could be the shaft of nail cleaner but with neither terminal surviving it is impossible to make any conclusive identification. Traces of solder can be seen: this solder would have held the now missing two outer copper-alloy sheets of this strap end in place. The terminal knop is an oval with a collar and slightly tapering tip. The terminal is 11mm in lengh and 7mm wide at the widest point (over the collar). This terminal would have projected beyond the outer sheets of the strap end.
