Contemporary copy of a Roman nummus. The coin dates from 330-335AD and is of the House of Constantine. The obverse of the coin has a left facing helmeted bust, and the worn legend CONSTANTINOPOLIS. The reverse of the coin depicts Victory on a prow. There is no legend on the reverse, and the mint mark has been worn. The obverse type is Reece and James 1986 figure 96, and the reverse figure 95. The coin was struck in copper alloy and has a dull green patina. It is 12.47mm in diameter, 1.59mm thick and weighs 0.87 grams.

Worn Roman nummus of Constans, dating 347-348AD. The coin was struck in copper alloy and has corroded giving the coin a dull red-brown appearance with patches of green. The obverse depicts a right facing bust and the legend is completely worn. The reverse type is two victories facing eachother, each holding a wreath. The reverse legend is completely worn but would have read VICTORIA DD AVG Q NN, See Reece and James 1986, figure 114. The coin is 14.09mm in diameter, 1.56mm thick and weighs 1.04 grams.

The worn obverse has the outline of a right facing diademed bust and the legend D N VALEN[S PF AVG]. The reverse of the coin depicts a walking victory and would have had the legend SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE, see Reece and James 1986 figure 141. The mint mark is completely worn and illegible.
