Large copper alloy annular brooch. The brooch frame is circular in cross section and is slightly concave in profile. The pin is intact and has a small raised collar and a slightly upturned terminal. The pin would have rested along the trough that the slightly concave profile creates.

Worn copper alloy single looped D-shaped buckle. The frame has a moulded decoration, however it is too worn to describe. The bar is narrowed and recessed, although most of it is missing, as is the pin. The surface of the buckle shows signs of gilding.

Foot from a copper alloy small long brooch. The foot is triangular and is decorated around the perimeter with a single row of punched chevrons. Above the triangular foot are two raised moulded transverse collars. The brooch is broken at the base of the bow. The reverse of the brooch contains a catchplate.

Body sherd from an Anglo-Saxon vessel. The sherd is 8mm thick and grit-tempered, with an average grit diameter of about 0.2mm.. The profile of the sherd is slightly angled as if it came from the shoulder area of the vessel. The sherd is decorated with three horizontal lines with five further lines running diagonally from the bottom of the central lines, and three running diagonally above. All of the breaks appear to be ancient. The style of sherd and its decoration may suggest that it is from a cremation urn.

A complete cast copper-alloy medieval buckle plate. The one-piece buckle plate is folded over at the attachment end. It has two copper-alloy rivets at the open end. The openwork design consists of a beast facing left with a spiral tail. Some of the attachment end has been folded over a section of the plate, which hides the rest of the design. The surface of the design has traces of gilding. The back of the plate is plate. The length of the plate is 34.2mm, the width is 23.96mm and the weight is 9.94g.

Copper alloy zoomorphic plate brooch. The brooch is very worn and is shown in profile to the right. The legs are missing, and the tail area and the perimeter of the head are very abraded. The body is decorated with a single curve towards the rear end representing the hip of the animal. The neck of the animal is very short and the head has a snout and worn ears. The animal would appear to be a hare, although the rear end of the animal would seem to be larger than normally portayed on hare brooches. The reverse of the brooch has an area reserved for the pin and catchplate, however …

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy crotal bell. The remains of the slot and one of the circular holes suggests that the fragment would have been the part of the lower half of the bell. The spherical fragment is decorated with sunburst decorated and has a incised linear star. At the edge of the fragment is the remains of a raised rim.
