17th or 18th century lead token 20mm in diameter, cast with a design in relief. A crude piercing on either side of centre line may indicate seconday use as a button. Ref. Michael Mitchiner has published a series of late 17th century lead tokens with two (or three) initials, see British Numismatic Journal 54 (1984), plates 16-21.
