Record ID: KENT-43BE04
Object type: LITHIC IMPLEMENT
Broad period: NEOLITHIC
County: Kent
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Neolithic worked flake knapped from light grey flint. The microlith resembles a leaf shape, however this appears to be due to later breaks, rather than intentional knapping of a crude leafshaped arrowhead. The ventral surface has several large ripples extending from the proximal end. The flake is 30mm long, 10mm wide at the proximal end, extending to 20mm before tapering to 6mm at the distal end.

Object type: LITHIC IMPLEMENT
Broad period: NEOLITHIC
County: Kent
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Worked flake of Neolithic date. The dark brown-grey flint flake has been retouched with short removals to form a curved edge, probably used as a crude thumb scraper. There are impact ripples along the length of the scraper, however no bulb of percussion is present. Light cream-brown cortex covers one edge of the scraper. The scraper is 32.86mm long, 24.43mm wide and has a maximum thickness of 9.34mm. It weighs 6.42 grams.
