A Medieval copper alloy vessel foot (15th century). The foot is roughly triangular with five lobes around the outer two sides ?paw-shaped representing five toes. The third side is rough and uneven, either a break or it has been only roughly cast. Partially covering the surface are carbon deposits from cooking. The uppermost surface is uneven where it has broken from the vessel and there are no carbon deposits present.
