Lead token. This token is circular in plan and flat in section. It has a crude moulded design to one face of a cross within a rough circle, with four pellets spread around the circle, effectively one echoing each quadrant of the cross. The token is light grey in colour, and though slightly worn survives in good condition. It has a diameter of 19.22mm, is 2.56mm thick and weighs 5.22g. Though an exact parallel could not be found, there are a number of tokens known, showing variations of a cross with four pellets. It is likely to be 17th century in date.

Lead token. Circular in plan, the token is decorated with a raised cross with arms that terminate in a pellet and with one pellet in each angle, all within a raised border. The reverse of the object is decorated with a raised design, possibly of a bird. Despite the medieval coin echoes in the motif, and given the realtive good survival, this token is probably 17th century in date. A similar 17th century token can be seen in Bailey, 2000, Finds Identified, page 15, figure 21.
