This coin forms part of a hoard of two coins and was reported as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act. It was subsequently disclaimed and returned to the finder. This coin has been pierced at 3 o'clock on the obverse. The piercing is circular.
This is probably a Coin of British Association as noted by Walker in his report on the coins from Sacred Spring at Bath (Walker pp. 295 & 299).
