A copper alloy ring of uncertain function, possibly dating to the prehistoric period. The ring is oval in section and has a dark green glossy patina with areas of pitting. The patina is characteristic of Iron Age finds and this is why a prehistoric date may be suggested. The ring has a diameter of 24mm and a thickness of 4mm.

Cast copper-alloy ring. This ring has a circular sectioned hoop. It has an even dark green patina with a silvery sheen. Exposed surfaces are lighter green. The ring has an even dark green patina with a silvery sheen. There is one small patch of damage, where the original surface is missing. Cast copper alloy ring of probable late Iron Age or Roman date (200 BC – 200 AD). The ring is circular in plan and sub-oval in cross section. It measures 24.9mm in diameter, is 5.5mm wide, and is 7.3mm thick. The internal hole has a diameter of 10.4mm. The ring weighs 18.08 grams.
The ring is a mid green brown colour with a well developed patina which covers all surfaces. There is no obvious cast or incised decoration present.
