Incomplete cast copper alloy oval buckle of probable Early Early-Medieval date (AD 450 – AD 600). Length 16mm, width 26mm and 2mm thick. Weight 2.67g. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear and the outside edge is slightly widened. The bar is narrowed and off-set and is also convex at the front and flat at the rear. The pin is missing and there is no evidence for wear by the pin on the bar or the frame. The piece is corroded and has bronze disease. However, there are traces of a mid-green patina on both faces. No evidence for burning or melting.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy penannular brooch, probably of Early Medieval date. Less than half of the brooch survives and the pin is missing. The cross section of the arm is oval and measures 5.41mm by 4.53mm. At the broken end it is slightly thinner and somewhat worn, presumably by the pin. The polyhedral terminal measures 11.5mm by 9.69mm by 6.99mm and has traces of enamelled decoration on the upper surface. A fragment of an early Anglo-Saxon gilded copper-alloy rectangular plate, decorated in Salin's Style I and cut down perhaps to form a pendant. The plate has lost its top and lower sections (viewed along its long axis), but the Style I limbs of the two chasing quadrupeds can still be made out. They run around a raised rectangular centre, which is an attempt to imitate the central garnet setting that this group typically displays. An incomplete probable mount of late early-medieval date. The mount, the upper part of which only survives, shows a facing animal head with large ears, cut off below the nose. This animal head recalls those en-face animal masks on stirrup-strap mounts of Williams's Class B. It can be compared with SUR-ADA177 on this database.

A cast copper alloy sub-triangular stirrup strap mount. The attachment loop and flange are complete. The mount is undecorated and has two circular perforations above the flange. These are slightly out of line with each other. The edges of the triangle are more angular in shape than most mounts of this type. It is possible that this example is a repair or cheaper imitation of the more usual highly decorated examples. The surface has a patchy brown to green patina. This mount dates to the 11th century AD.

A 9th century copper-alloy tongue-shaped strap-end of Thomas Type A (2003). The wider open end has a decorative indentation at the centre of its top edge and two small circular attachment holes. Immediately beneath these holes is an incised scallop-shaped decorative panel with a single incised wedge within its confines. A fragment from a copper-alloy sheet Anglo-Saxon mount, probably from a bucket. The incomplete fragment is now U-shaped and tapers in width to the arms. There are the remains of a rivet hole on one of the arms. The fragment is decorated with a border on both edges of punched triangles and circles. The length is 30.0mm, the width is 31.6mm, the thickness is 1.5mm and the weight is 4.08g.
