The mass could indicate this to represent 4 units of a Scandinavian weight measurement system based on modules of 4.07gms, but the form and poor finish are both unusual rfor such an object. A fragment of a cast copper alloy unidentified object, probably of Medieval or Post Medieval date. The fragment is sub-triangular and slightly curved. One end is original and seems to be slightly convex. The other sides are patinated breaks. One face has been decorated with incised lines; one forms a border along the original edge, and the rest of the design on the body consists of two diagonal lines flanking a sub oval annulet.
