A medieval cast copper alloy bar mount dating from around AD 1350 - 1450. The object has a domed circular central section decorated with parallel incised lines. This is flanked by two short, pierced rectangular attachment lobes, one of which is broken. Similar mounts are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard, 1991, Dress Accessories c.1150 - c.1450, page 214, numbers 1160 & 1161.

A complete cast copper alloy ring of probable Roman - Modern date (50 - 1800). The misshapen ring would of been broadly circular in plan, it is oval in cross section. The profile of the ring is distorted, with a thinner area, possibly due to wear. There is no obvious cast or incised decoration present. The ring has a light - mid greenish grey patina with areas of the reddish brown alloy still showing. The patination of the metal would suggest a Medieval or later date. An early Roman T-shaped brooch manufactured from cast copper alloy. The brooch has a hinged pin fastening (though this is now lost), and the cylindrical cross bar still contains the remains of the iron axis bar which held the pin in place. The surface has been damaged by corrosion, and no evidence of surface decoration remains. Brooches of this kind were in use around the mid-1st century AD (Bayley & Butcher, p.94). A Post Medieval incomplete piece of kiln furniture from The Hermitage kiln in Wapping, dating late 17th - early 18th century. This piece of kiln furniture is part of a lid which would sit on top of a saggar. It is stoneware and glazed and shaped like a disc with two lateral conical depressions arranged only the edge of one of the surfaces. An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy cast buckle. This fragment consists of one loop and the bar from the frame of a plain rectangular buckle. The frame is rectangular in cross-section with a reduced, circular bar. The end of the loop is thinner than the sides, with one corner cut back at an angle, the patina suggests this is due to mis-casting. The frame is heavily abraded, with a green patina and patches of exposed red brown metal. There a flecks of tinning on both sides. The buckle is 25.2mm wide, and the fragment is 19.5mm long. the frame is 2.4mm thick. The fragment weighs 3.30g.

A copper-alloy plate brooch (Mackreth's enamelled oval group 3) dating to the mid-second to third century AD. The brooch is oval in shape. The flat plate is divided in to two zones by a reserved metal ridge concentric with the oval outer rim. The central oval field and the outer band are now empty but were probably previously decorated with enamel. On the underside of the brooch there are the remnants of a catchplate and a perforated lug which is worn down. The pin is missing. The thimble has a domed top and the remains of two parallel grooves are visible around the base, while the rest of the outer surface of the thimble is covered with small, handmade punch marks. A Post Medieval incomplete ceramic figurine of a sheep in London stoneware, dating 18th - 19th century. The figurine includes the body of a sheet with the legs tucked under it. The head is missing and the base is very rough with broken edges. The detail of the sheep's coat is clearly visible although the figurine is very water-worn. The flat plate is divided in to two zones by a reserved metal ridge concentric with the oval outer rim. The central oval zone and the outer concentric ring are both empty and were probably once decorated with enamel. A Post Medieval incomplete copper alloy buckle probably dating to the 17th century. This is a double looped buckle where one of the loops is broken and missing. The outer edge is decorated with a moulded scalloping. The pin is still present, attached to the cross bar. The pin has been made from a triangular piece of sheet metal. This buckle is thin and the decoration is slightly irregular. Dimensions: length: 12.59mm; width: 14.29mm; thickness: 0.76mm; weight: 0.47g.
