BURNHAM HOARD 2010 T509: item B.2: Sword - Ewart Park Fragment of a cast copper alloy sword. Hilt. T-shaped finial bar with squared off corners. Concave faces, not flanged. Broken across rivet hole. Cross section at break is triangular to either side of rivet hole. Length: 33.01mm. Weight: 24.64 grams. 41.11mm wide at terminal, 6.89mm thick. 23.09mm wide at break, 4.54mm thick.

A worn and clipped Medieval silver halfpenny of Richard II (1377-1399), London mint (c. AD 1377-1399, Cf. North 1991 Vol II, No. 1331b, probably Withers 1(L)). This coin has suffered moderate circumferential losses. An incomplete cast lead alloy seal matrix of Medieval date. It has no suspension loop or lug, and there are no apparent breaks. The edges are rounded and worn. The seal is pointed-oval in form, trapezoidal in section and with moulded decoration on the back face. This matrix is unusual in that it seems to have no trace of any legend or decorative motif on the front face, suggesting it may be a blank that has yet to be carved. An incomplete twisted cable-bracelet dating from the late Roman period. The bracelet is made of two strands of copper-alloy twisted round each other. Each is rectangular in section.
