A worn, bent and cracked later 13th-century silver silver medieval penny of Edward I, Class 3b/c transitional struck at the London mint in 1280 AD. The coin has been folded in half, resulting in the cracks mentioned. The two halves are not flush; enough of the reverse legend can be seen to identify the mint.
