Dress pin of bodkin type. Bent twice along its length, probably was originally worn. Made of silver, quadrangular section, tapering to a point (broken). At the other end, broken at what would have been a rectangular opening. Decorated on both sides with incised foliate ornament.
Period: Post-Medieval, 17th Century.

Weight: 6.74 g
Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
