A copper-alloy sheet-metal rivet of medieval to early post-medieval date. Such rivets were used to mend holes in thin-walled metal vessels. The artefact has been made from a lozengiform piece of sheet-metal which has had both of its points folded towards the centre and pushed through the hole in the vessel. These ends have then been bent outwards again. The heavily corroded object measures 23.3mm long, 14.7mm wide and 2.6mm thick. The weight is 1.66g.

A cast copper-alloy asymmetrical double looped buckle frame. The strap bar is narrowed. One loop is rectangular, the other rounded with a pointed edge. There is no pin recess and the pin is missing. The buckle frame is complete. The buckle is a mid greenish-brown colour and the surface is pitted. These buckles date from circa 1550 - 1700. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p90.

A Post Medieval biface lead alloy token dating AD 1700-1800. The token is miscast with the two halves misaligned. The obverse has four triangular motifs, two overlapping at 90ยบ and the reverse has the initials RA (in retrograde) some lettering beneath which is illegible. Dimensions: Diameter: 25.23mm; weight: 7.08g. Similar tokens are illustrated in Egan (2005:170) nos 939-940 and they are dated to c.1675-1700. Reference: Egan, G. 2005. Silver hammered halfgroat of Elizabeth, mint mar: bell (1582-83). The mint mark is fairly clear when looking at the coin, and the inscription starts with ELIZABETH and not ELIZAB. There are no pellets or rose behind bust and there is no date above shield. However, there were no halfgroats with that inscription after 1572 and all issues with the bell-mintmark (1582-3) have either pellets or roses or behind the bust. Possibly North 1999

A copper-alloy frame from a medieval single-loop buckle. The frame is roughly D-shaped, expanding in width towards the outer side. The upper surface of the frame is convex and the underside is flat. The axis bar is thin, or circular section and has a slight bulge at the centre. The pin is missing. The artefact measures 12.8mm long, 18.9mm wide and 2.9mm thick. The weight is 2.31g.

Late Medieval/early Post Medieval copper alloy purse bar, 50mm long, 16mm wide and 10mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 28.6 grams. The object consists of a central solid rectangle, which has a circular hole through its centre. On either side of this is a short integral shaft which starts with a rectangular form and section, but then flares out to form a triangular terminal. The surface of these shafts have linear incisions and the central area has two cross shaped incisions on one side.

A flint blade, probably Neolithic in date due to its large size. The blade is triangular in section and curved slightly. It is patinated to a light grey colour but the flint has buff tones. There is retouch on the right edge at the proximal end which cuts through the patina, showing that the flint was flaked many years before it was retouched. The blade measures 62.2mm x 21.2mm x 5.5mm, weighing 9.49g.
